Saturday mornings...

... a weekly morning yoga class involving a solid hour of ‘the Sequence©’ (a intensive sequence of interlinked modified yoga postures and movements that directly instill the principles of “Scaravelli inspired” yoga on a dynamic physical level. This is directly followed by a one hour workshop to clarify experiential understanding of the principles – probably not for beginners, although if you don't mind working hard, you will enjoy it, and it is absolutely safe for all levels of experience... the morning ends with a guided relaxation.

2. Weekend workshops in my lovely garden in Hove:

Saturday afternoons...

...will be a leisurely 3 hours of exploration and development of practical, experiential understanding of the principles of integrated movement and support ... this will still lead to some deep work, but perhaps with a little more time for absorption (my garden has a truly magical feel, and its just a nice place to be - so worth giving time to that too). There will be a theme for the afternoon that will act as the frame for the work (possibly as a lead on from the morning's sessions at the studio), and we will end with a deep relaxation/meditation. Herbal teas on offer.

The garden ... is rather lovely. It can be found through the right hand side passage of 15 Ranelagh Villas in Hove (BN3 6HE), very near Hove Station (see google map). There is a wooden platform at the end of it, sheltered by trees, that can accommodate around 10, but we can easily spread out onto the grass if there are more. It's England so weather will be as it will be ...

All shapes, sizes and types welcome... from dedicated athlete to a-bit-lazy-but-ready-to-get-started – you will find yourself working to the level that is needed for you. No particular yoga experience is necessary, just an interest in body work in general, in improving the quality of life and the body/mind relationship, and a willingness to explore new ideas and ways of moving.

I regularly get people that may have been teaching for 30 years working right next to someone that has never even tried a yoga class before, and everyone is working as deeply as each other, having new experiences, discovering new relationships etc...

Things to bring:
Comfortable easy-to-move-in clothes (appropriate for the temperature of the day), a yoga mat is essential and a blanket for relaxation times is a good idea.

If you are wanting to eat in the garden, bring some food and hot or cold drinks (a little extra to share if you are feeling generous), or if you prefer to go elswhere to eat there is a bakery style cafe near Hove station (very close) or restaurants and the like in George St (about 15 mins walk).

Please read carefully:
Booking and paying the fee is in effect agreement to abide by the terms and conditions below...

Terms & Conditions ... Booking fees for Garden events are non-refundable unless weather conditions make it impossible. The platform at the end of my garden is sheltered from rain, so presuming its not really cold, in the event of gray skies or a little drizzle, garden workshops can continue. However, if a garden event is cancelled because of intolerable weather, you will be refunded an appropriate amount (either the fee for the day if paid for individually, £15 refund/afternoon if you have booked all 3 Saturday afternoons, £25/day if you have booked all 3 Sundays, or £15/garden event if you have booked the Summer deal ). There are no refunds on mornings at the Studio, or voluntary non-attendance.
