Just wanted to say thank you for your time and help, and to say . . . . I think I'm getting it!!

Today, I started by just lying on my mat and getting in touch with my body and breath. As I relaxed, again I could feel all the processes going on and the breath moving parts of me without me having to do anything - incredible.

I started to do some postures and could feel the 'heaviness' where I was touching the ground, and the more I worked, the more it came. I decided to do Upavistha Konasana, I never been able to get my forehead on the floor, so I didn't try. I concentrated on feeling my spine going down to the floor, going forward through my fingers and toes and again the breath started to 'do' things on the inside and move my body. I just kept relaxing and before I knew it my forehead was on the floor without effort.

I have to say that at the end of my session, I felt almost spaced out. I'm so excited I want to keep practising before I lose the feeling but I have to live in the world so have to work.

I'm now understanding the downwards using gravity and the breath working the body, I just need to get the upwards. It will come I'm sure, I don't know when but thank you for starting my on this wonderful journey. I reach my 60th birthday in a few months and feel like a kid with a new toy.

I just wanted to say thankyou for what ever you did with my hip/ knee.... on the last weekend retreat its been fine ever since!!! ive had pain in that hip for about six years and its 90 % better although ive had various treatments over the past five years, nothing has really worked. I walked the coastline around Whitstable with my son the following sunday normally I have alot of pain after about five miles but had nothing!!! Thanks again and hope to see you soon."
